										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Banner Power Company, Inc. designed and installed 8 12kw inverters and 8 18.5kw lithium batteries in a residential house.  The total system is rated for 400 amps of continuous power.  This is the largest single family home battery installation in the US.</p>
<p>It is a whole house battery energy storage system (BESS) with a 48 kw propane generator backup. It is capable of powering all HVAC systems and recharging the electric cars when the grid is unavailable.</p>
